Group skateboarding lessons
The art of the beginner
Our first set of group lessons will be for beginners only. We will teach the skills to get you rolling, turning, braking and tackling the ramps along with many other tricks.
The lesson
Our lessons will be an hour long. This will be broken down into gearing up which shouldn’t take more than 5-10 minutes, if you have your own gear, please have it on before you enter. We will then skate up to 10.55am where we will have a gear down. Any questions you have for the instructor please ask during this gear down or via email, as we have additional lessons right after.
A Max of 6
We have been given a limit of students 6 students that we can cater to at one time within Kingsfield skatepark. We also feel this is a great number to keep the progress rolling without compromising on quality.
The equipment
We will bring all the necessary equipment for the lesson, this is included in the price.
If you have your own, you are welcome to bring them along. This is a standard street skateboard, helmet and pads (Elbow, Knees and Wrist guards).
No Penny Boards
Ages
To keep to as close to the age bracket of the skatepark for the time slot. We will run lessons for ages 5 to 10.
The Membership Card
You will need a membership card to enter Kingsfield skatepark.
This is a must.
Price?
£20 per child.
When?
Sundays at 10am.
Where?
We run our lessons within Kingsfield skatepark in Hampton Wick (Richmond).
