Membership card
The skatepark requires a membership card to enter (order here), this is a request of Richmond Council and we do not have any involvement with the card.
The physical card takes 5 working days to arrive, but you can enter the park with proof of order receipt (email).
When the card arrives, please take a photo as a digital copy. If you lose it, you need to rebuy a new card.
Any card related issues please contact

Weekend Availbility
Our weekend availability can be found on our website here
Lessons usually reset on a Monday, but we currently run a priority follow up system. This means if you are a current student with a lesson booked for example on Saturday at 10am, once your lesson is complete you can book the following Saturday at 10am before the slot becomes available for the public.
If you do not request a follow up lesson for the same time slot by the end of the day your lesson was ran, it will then be placed on our website on the next following Monday.
We understand this means there is less availability for new lessons. We are looking to move into group lessons to accommodate the increased interest.
Advanced booking?
Our lessons are booked on a 7-day basis. This allows us to be flexible in case of bad weather. Please check our schedule regularly for available dates.
Where are lessons ran?
We run lessons within Kingsfield skatepark, please read our skatepark page to find out all information on times, ages, parking, rules and the membership card for the skatepark.
The Lessons
We run a mix of lessons from one to one, to private groups and open group lessons.
Saturday is dedicated for private bookings
Sunday is our group lesson day
Lessons can be booked during the work week from 10am to 1pm.
Half term dates will be listed on the website as we get closer to the dates.
Ages
We run lessons for ages 5 and up.
What should I wear & bring?
Skateboarding is an activate sport with risks of falling, you want to wear some older clothes and flat soled trainers.
Please bring a bottle of drink with you to the park.
Equipment?
We lend out all equipment for the skatepark, please let us know in advance if you need anything.
Skateboard, helmet, elbow, knees and wrist guards.
Group lessons?
We run public group lessons on Sundays, this is 6 students per hour.
Our schedule
10am is beginner groups (5 – 10)
11am is intermediate groups (age 5-11)

Cancellations
Depending on the condition we have different cancellation rules.
Weather related:
If the weather impacts the lesson we will try postpone your lesson if we have availability after your slot, or reschedule you to another date.
If you are in a lesson and it rains, depending on how much of a lesson that has been completed you may have a discount towards another lesson. If enough of the lesson has been completed, this unfortunately means no rescheduled/discount.
More information can be found on our terms page
If you are refused entry to the skatepark for lack of a membership card, we do not refund or reschedule in this circumstance. We have all the information of how to get your card on our skatepark page. You can purchase a card at the gate, but this delay to the start of your lesson is not reimbursed.
Late arrival to lessons:
We run our weekend lessons on a time schedule as we have a lot of demand. If you’re late to a lesson, we cannot extend your lesson to make up for lost time. If the instructor is late, we will then extend to cover your full hour. This includes a quick break if the instructor has requested it.
Please leave earlier than what Google Maps suggests, as the area around the skatepark can become busy with traffic and parking is limited.
No show:
We have a 48 hour cancellation period for our lessons. This gives us enough time to fill in that slot with someone else.
If we are not given a heads up for cancellation, your lesson will be charged at the full rate. We do apologies in advance if this happens to you.
On rare occasions lessons will be cancelled from our side. We will give you a heads up notice, this may be due to an injury or the instructor being unwell.
The instructor
We currently have one instructor running lessons within Kingsfield skatepark. We have supporting instructors for our school events.
You will find Coach Dell being the instructor for your lesson.
Skate shop
We do sell a host of skateboard related equipment. Please ask our instructor what we have on offer.
You can also find online skateshops such as Routeone, Rollersnakes, Skatehut.
Or the local skateshop Natter Jacks in Kingsfield.
Surf Skate and Long boarding?
We have helped students ride long boards and surfskates.
We currently only have one surfskate board that we can lend out. You will need to share with the instructor for your lesson.
We do not have any longboards to lend out at this stage.
Week day booking
If you’re looking for a week day lesson that is not apart of the half term dates, you can find that under our booking page. Please book a lesson with the preferred day of the week and we will get in touch.
Lessons are sold out can I prebook a future weekend slot?
Our weekend lessons are ran on a week to week basis, we do not allow people to pre book a future weekend. As we run our lessons in an outdoor location we cannot predict poor weather, so we have chosen for our bookings to be on a 7 day cycle to make everything a smooth process.
If a lesson date shows as "Sold Out," can I still inquire about availability?
Unfortunately, if a date is listed as “Sold Out,” it means all spots are filled for that session. To find available dates, please check our website. We’re a small team, so we may not be able to respond to inquiries about sold-out dates. Thank you for your understanding!
When do slots reset?
We try our best to reset slots on a weekly basis (every Monday) to make sure we can work around poor weather.
We have one person responding to emails, we appreciate if you spend the time finding the information on our website before emailing us the questions above.
